2025 Baseball/softball Skill Evaluation Day is March 22nd @ the Bellevue Centre , 3000 Seneca Industrial Pkwy. (entrance in rear of building)

FAQs

What League does the Girls Division participate in?

The Girls Divisions 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, and HSE will participate in the North Coast Softball League. There will be travel local cities for away games. Home games will be played in Clyde and Green Springs.

What League does the Boys Division play in?

The Boys Division teams for 9u, 12u, will be interleague baseball program with games only played in Clyde at Clyde Community Park. This year we will also have a 7th and 8th grade teams that will be in the NOBBL, their home games will be in Clyde and away games played in other communities TBD.

What are the bat rules for the boys?

Rules for our 9U: Bring it swing it, has to be a baseball bat.

12u players: 

1.07.1 Non-wooden bats must be BBCOR certified, have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp or have

the USA Baseball stamp.

1.07.2 There is no drop restriction on bats.

1.07.3 PENALTY FOR USING AN ILLEGAL BAT

1.07.3.1 The ball is immediately dead, the batter is out, and runners return to the base

occupied at the time of the pitch. The player will be ejected for a 2nd violation in

the same game.

Note: Bat Barrel size cannot exceed 2 3/4 inches. 

What are the bat rules for the girls?

Girls Bats have to be stamped with USSSA or USA and no bigger than 2 1/4 barrel size. 

What size softballs are used?

Softballs used for 8u and 10u age divisions are 11 inches. 12u, 14u, and HSE (High School Eligible) use 12 inch softballs.
